Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is this treat dispensing toy suitable for puppies or small dogs?
A: No. The original product details specify medium and large dogs and warn that its firm rubber construction and 10.5 oz weight may be too large or heavy for small dogs and puppies.
Q: How does the mushroom dog puzzle toy dispense treats?
A: Place appropriately sized dry food or treats in the dispensing openings and let your dog move the toy under supervision. Test the food size first and include treats in your dog's daily food allowance.
Q: Is it a good birthday or Christmas gift for a dog owner?
A: It can be a practical enrichment gift for owners of medium or large dogs that enjoy treat-based activities. Check the dog's chewing style and toy size needs before choosing Red or Yellow.
Q: Can I put peanut butter or dog toothpaste in the grooves?
A: The original instructions suggest either. Use only dog-safe products, and choose peanut butter without xylitol. Offer small amounts, supervise chewing, and clean away food residue after use. This toy does not replace toothbrushing or veterinary dental care.
Q: Does the toy include treats, toothpaste, or two toys?
A: Treats and toothpaste are not confirmed as included. Pack quantity is unclear because the description mentions a red-and-yellow 2-pack while the variants are separate Red and Yellow options; do not assume both colors are supplied.
Q: Is this an indestructible toy or a STEM learning kit?
A: Neither. It is a food-based dog enrichment puzzle, not a STEM educational kit. No chew toy is indestructible; supervise play, inspect for damage, and remove the toy if pieces loosen or your dog tries to swallow it.
