Walk-In Chicken Coop for Backyard Poultry
Create a dedicated outdoor area for your flock with this walk-in metal chicken coop and poultry run. The galvanized steel frame, coated hexagonal wire mesh and covered roof combine an open enclosure with convenient access for daily care. Picture stepping inside on a quiet morning to refresh water and check your hens, then closing the lockable door before returning to your routine. This is an outdoor run, not an insulated sleeping house; plan suitable sheltered accommodation for your birds.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Who is this walk-in chicken coop designed for?
A: It is intended for backyard chicken keepers and farm poultry owners seeking an outdoor enclosure. The listing states up to 12 chickens, but choose flock size according to bird size, usable space and the rest of your housing setup rather than treating that figure as a welfare guarantee.
Q: Can this chicken run serve as a complete hen house?
A: It is a wire-mesh outdoor run with an overhead cover, not an insulated sleeping house. Plan separate suitable nesting, roosting and weather shelter, and assess the perimeter for your local predator risks.
Q: Is it a useful gift for a backyard chicken keeper?
A: It can be a practical birthday, holiday or homestead gift. Confirm the recipient has room for the enclosure, an appropriate installation area and a plan for assembly before ordering.
Q: How should I assemble and use the poultry enclosure?
A: Follow the supplied assembly instructions for the quick-connect frame, mesh, cover and lockable door. Choose a suitable site, verify stability and check fastenings and enclosure gaps before introducing birds. Reinspect regularly and after rough weather.
Q: Does it include feeders, waterers or nesting boxes?
A: The listed components are the door, roof/cover, mesh, lock and chicken run. Feeders, waterers, nesting boxes and roosts are not specified as included, so plan these separately.
Q: Is this a STEM kit or educational toy?
A: No. It is animal-housing equipment, not a STEM kit or children's toy. Poultry care may offer supervised opportunities to observe animal behavior, but no educational curriculum or STEM accessories are specified.
